Replacing the front control arm bushing with the TEDGUM TED42843 puller (Manual #35)

The puller enables correct mounting of the bushing directly on the car without having to remove the control arm bracket. The special design ensures quick and easy replacement. The puller is adapted to work with a socket wrench.

The universal construction of the puller fits all kind of bushings:

Normal
Reinforced
Reinforced (full)

Below we describe the replacement process:

Remove the old bushing and clean the socket.

Lubricate the socket with a suitable agent.

Position the bushing correctly in the socket, remember that the bushing is not symmetrical.
Mount the puller, the bolt is screwed in towards the front of the car.

Place the wrench on the bolt head and start turning it while observing the position of the bushing. Position of the bushing can be vierified by observing marks made on the drive plate.

Remove puller after pressing the bushing in by unscrewing the bolt and taking the plates off.
