Manual for the puller TED29556 (Manual #53)

The TED29556 puller allows correct installation and removal of bushings directly on the vehicle. Thanks to the high-quality bolt and plain bearings, the puller is highly durable. To facilitate and ensure proper operation, it is important to correctly lubricate the bolt and bearings.

Below is the exact process for replacing a bushing using a puller:

For the correct bushing replacement process, thoroughly clean the element before pressing it out.

Assemble the receiving element by connecting the sleeve A with the fitting E.

Set the assembled element together with the bolt.

On the other side put on the element C.

Lubricate the bolt with graphite grease, assembly it all together and press out the bushing, checking whether it comes out of the socket freely.

Lubricate the inside of the socket and install the new bushing together with the element E.

Install a retaining set consisting of elements D and C, on the other side, taking care for the appropriate settings of the cutout on the piece D.

Lubricate the bolt again, assembly it all together and press in the bushing, checking that it is positioned evenly.

Press the bushing in until the metal collar touches the control arm – this is an indicator of correct assembly.
