Method of assembly and disassembly of the bushing with a Seeger ring – internal (Manual #30)

Socket with old insert. It must be removed to allow the new one to be pressed in.

We cut out the old rubber to enable further operations.

Correctly cut rubber.

We make a cut on the inner part of the bushing sitting in the socket in two places opposite each other. Be careful not to cut into the socket.

We push the old outer bushing out of the socket.

We clean the socket of remains.

A properly cleaned socket for pressing in a new insert.

Applying graphite grease to the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the new TEDGUM® insert.

Pressing the new insert into the tie socket.

Press the insert in until the insert collar rests on the tie socket.

Correctly pressed insert.

We spread the Seeger ring with pliers to allow the tie to be installed on the ball joint.

We install the tie with a new insert on the ball joint.
