Replacement manual for anti-roll bar bushings TED11549 in Mercedes W204 (Manual #29)

Below manual shows the correct way of replacement of anti-roll bar bushings in Mercedes C Class (W204).

Due to untypical original anti-roll bushings attachment, beside of rubber elements additional metal clamps are included in the replacement kit.

1

Before the original bushings are replaced it is needed to mark their position on the anti-roll bar.

2

Remove the metal clamp and rubber from the anti-roll bar. The bar needs to be completely cleaned from remaining rubber before new bushings can be installed.

3

Stretch new clamp and put inside new rubber insert. Element needs to be stretched enough that anti-roll bar can fit inside.

4

Place the element on the anti-roll bar.

5

Tighten clamp. Fixed anti-roll bar can be installed in the car.

6

Correctly replaced element.
